Holding structures & exit planning
How an asset is owned decides how easily it can be sold. We set up holding structures for our clients’ hospitality assets, using special purpose vehicles (SPVs) and holding companies in suitable jurisdictions such as Singapore, so that at exit a buyer can acquire the company that owns the hotel rather than the hotel itself. Share sales are typically faster, keep licences and contracts in place, and can reduce transfer costs. We work alongside your legal and tax advisors throughout.
